In this week’s Pearl’s Preview Pod four-time premiership winner Steve Renouf outlines why he believes this year’s NRL grand final will be a classic Roosters v Rabbitohs showdown.
Renouf says South Sydney coach Wayne Bennett will get his side up to beat the Raiders in Canberra on Friday night and expects captain Sam Burgess to lead his team to victory with a man of the match performance.
While acknowledging the loss of Jared Waerea-Hargreaves will hurt the Roosters against the Storm, the former Bronco says the all-round strike and slickness of Trent Robinson’s team will cover for the Kiwi international’s loss.
