2021 is here, and so is our first podcast of the new year, and with got a pair of guests to kick us off.
RFL Chief Executive Ralph Rimmer is up first, talking about how Rugby League fits in to Sport England’s vision for the next decade, as well as how the sport has dealt with the pandemic to date, the challenges faced and those yet to come.
Someone who is looking at those challenges from a different perspective is Damian Irvine, non-executive Director at Hunslet, who joins us for the view from League One, how his club is placed in the current framework, the future for them, and similar clubs, and his views on the split between the RFL and Super League.
Plus, we talk about whatever else has happened we can remember, as we look forward to getting back on the pitch, and in the stands.
