On this week’s edition of The Powwow with Sowwow, former Parramatta and Canterbury forward Andrew Ryan talks to Jamie Soward about the agony and ecstasy of his appearances on grand final day with the Eels in 2001 and the Bulldogs in 2004.
Ryan, who famously captained Canterbury to victory in the decider when regular skipper Steve Price was ruled out with a knee injury, also talks about how he wanted to return home to country footy as a youngster and how he’s giving back to the game in retirement by helping young players.
