In this week’s ‘Pearl’s Preview Pod’ Steve Renouf has hailed NSW fullback James Tedesco as the best player in the world and credited the vision of Mitchell Pearce for securing the Blues a thrilling 26-20 win in the State of Origin series decider.
Renouf says Pearce earned Origin redemption with his last gasp play that led to NSW’s miracle try.
He also says explains Maroons coach Kevin Walters has done “a great job” with the Maroons in a transitional period and analyses the three kicks in general play that cost a brave Queensland the decider.
